About Chloe

Our Mission

Zena Holistic Health provides a customized solution for busy women who want to make wellness a priority but don’t know where to start. Balance plays an essential role in well-being, but it looks different for everyone. My wellness coaching program is based on research psychology and behavior change, so you can be confident you’re gaining information and developing skills to create and sustain wellness.

Near the beginning of coaching, I work with clients to set specific goals for coaching, and then together we figure out how to track progress toward each goal. This can be done through standardized self-report measures, body measurements, recording number of days per week engaging in a specific behavior, and/or many other methods; the ultimate priority is to make sure we have a way to measure progress and to know when we need to problem-solve and/or bring in new tools and change things up.

Bio

I am a Master Certified Health Coach for women with busy lives striving for any semblance of balance. I take a holistic approach to help my clients keep – or develop – nutrition, fitness, and wellness practices that align with their personal values and goals.

I have always been interested in people and their backstories, which is what led me to pursue my Ph.D. in psychology from Purdue University and a career in psychology research. However, it was my own experience with pregnancy and becoming a mom that led me to pursue health coaching. I was a runner who routinely exercised before I got pregnant, and I really struggled to maintain my wellness and exercise habits after giving birth. Motherhood highlighted for me just how much finding ways to prioritize holistic health and wellness is a lifelong quest – with successfully achieving balance being more difficult during some phases of life compared to others. I became a Master Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and started Zena Holistic Health LLC in 2022.

I specialize in coaching clients on incorporating holistic health practices into daily life. I like to meet clients where they are, and I focus on using evidence-based coaching approaches that fit with each individual client’s goals and values. When providing individual services, I utilize my psychology knowledge and expertise in behavior change to collaboratively develop and execute a unique coaching plan with each client. I value helping clients see the results they desire, and to that end, I regularly track outcomes tied to goals. Coaching with me often includes values work, mindfulness, self-compassion, and pursuit of fitness and nutrition goals.

I also provide consultation to other coaches focused on values work, motivating clients, behavior change, and goal setting and achievement.

Embracing a holistic health lifestyle continues to be an ongoing passion (and challenge at times – it so hard to fit it all in!) in my personal life. I enjoy reading, mindfulness, running, hiking, travel, cooking, baking, watching football, and binge-watching worthy TV series. I value my relationships with family and friends above all.

If you are seeking balance in your life or want to improve your nutrition, fitness, or mental wellness skills, I would love to work with you! Check out my contact page and services list for additional information.
